Cinema prof receives Quebec's lifetime achievement award

On March 23, 2014 at the 16th annual Soirée des Jutra, the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema's Micheline Lanctôt received the province's most important lifetime achievement award in cinema, the Prix Jutra-Hommage.

Grads receive Governor General's Award

Concordia alumnae Angela Grauerholz and Carol Wainio distinguished for careers in visual and media art.

Film by Concordia alumna awarded top Canadian prize

Gabrielle, a film written and directed by Louise Archambault, BFA 93, MFA 00, won Best Motion Picture at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards. Nicolas Bolduc, attendee 06, and Howard Goldberg, BFA 82, were also awarded prizes.
