Fine Arts exhibitions in the Departments of Biology, Philosophy and Psychology

Presented by Concordia's Fine Arts Students Association (FASA) and Arts and Science Federation of Associations (ASFA)

The ASFASA Festival is an interdisciplinary initiative that aims to create links between students from the Fine Arts and Arts & Science faculties, while encouraging communication and the cross-pollination of ideas between Concordia University academic departments. The project is designed to promote undergraduate scholarship and provide opportunities for students to share their work and be recognized by their peers.

Do Tell Me More (Psychology Exhibition)
PY Building, 1st and 2nd floors, Loyola Campus
Themes: the psycho-social, human relationships, imagination, emotions and cognition

Cyborgs Galore (Biology Exhibition)
SP Building (Science Complex) atrium, Loyola Campus
Themes: the organic, the environment, micro/macrocosms, forms of life and bio diversity

It's All Relative (Philosophy Exhibition)
PR Building, 2100 Mackay, SGW Campus
Themes: the conceptual, philosophical theories, knowledge, a search for meaning

Lecture on aesthetics
Feb. 11 at 8:30 p.m., 2149 Mackay

The Philosophy Student Association, Sophia, will host various parallel activities to the ASFASA Festival, to be held from Feb. 8 to 12 on the 7th floor of the Hall Building.

The Webster Library will also be presenting artwork in its glass display casings. The pieces presented at this venue are conceptually and aesthetically linked to ideas of text and bookwork, while also resonating with one of the themes explored by the exhibitions held in the departments.
