Throughout January 2013, The Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema will
present public lectures by scholars who have been short-listed for the
tenure-track position in Film Studies: Emerging (Tier 2) Canada Research Chair in Visual Heritage and Digital Archives.
Everyone is welcome.
The first lecture is titled Showmanship in the Home: Amateur Cinema's Image Problem as Seen by the Hobbyist Press (1920-1970) by Dr. Louis Pelletier.
